The Blue Marble Radical Cup North America series kicks off its fourth event weekend of six in 2023 this weekend, officially marking the halfway point of the season. The North American series will journey north of the border to compete on the Streets of Toronto alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES in the Honda Indy Toronto. Set to battle on the concrete-lined 1.786-mile, 11-turn layout, Gorski is looking to climb to the top of the Pro 1500 podium when the checkered flag flies.
One Motorsports’ Gregg Gorski has been making a run for the championship season hoping to score his first title in the Pro 1500 class. Gorski currently sits in third in the championship standings among competitive up-and-coming drivers and is hoping Toronto will bring his first appearance on the top step of the podium this season.
“The competition this season is unmatched,” explains the Cock Oil-backed Gregg Gorski. “With all the young talented drivers joining the series, they’re really keeping me on my toes. I’m hoping this new circuit will even the playing field, and I think I’ll be able to use my many years running in a Radical to my advantage.”
This will be Radical’s first and only street course on the schedule this season, with many of the drivers having never raced a Radical on such a tight circuit much like the Streets of Toronto. Entering unchartered territory, Gorski will utilize his knowledge from racing around the world to hopefully propel him to the top of the result sheets.
Gregg Gorski will begin his shortened race weekend with a single practice and qualifying on Friday. Gregg, along with his competitors, will race a double-header on Saturday with one last chance to climb to the top of the podium on Sunday before the NTT INDYCAR SERIES Honda Indy Toronto.
