The Radical Cup North America series saw their fourth event of the season this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, their third outing alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. EVR Motorsports driver Gregg Gorski gave it his all this weekend, securing a pair of podium finishes on the 2.238-mile-long track with 300 feet of elevation change and the famous Corkscrew section of the road course.

After securing a fourth-place result in qualifying, Gorski carried it through to the finish, ending in the same position, just shy of a podium in race one. With something to prove, he recovered from a sixth-place start to a third-place finish in race two on Saturday afternoon, only to one-up himself in race three, crossing the line in the second position, his second podium result of the weekend and best result of the season so far.

“It feels good to see some results finally,” explained Gorski. “The team and I have been working hard to get back up on the podium, and we achieved our best finish yet. Laguna Seca is a beast to tame, and it’s always a fun yet challenging weekend. I’m happy with this weekend, but there will still be work to do. We’ll be gunning for that win in Sonoma to close the season.”

Gorski will not return for round five of the season with the rest of the Radical Cup paddock on the Streets of Toronto but will return for the season finale at Sonoma Raceway at the end of September.

Gorski added, “Sucks to miss Toronto, especially after the momentum I have now, but we will channel that success towards the final event of the season at Sonoma, and the World Finals later this year.”
