Continuing to push through the 2020 race season, Texas based Team Crosslink will make the cross country run to Mooresville, North Carolina for the final round of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS). With the challenging GoPro Motorplex the team’s playground for the weekend, seven hungry drivers will be looking for race wins and podium results in the effort to close the series strong.
“There are seven drivers this weekend, well six and me,” explained Team Manager Sean Owens, who will compete in the X30 Masters class. “Our USPKS program has grown throughout the season and it is exciting to end the series with our largest contingent of drivers for a USPKS event ever.”
X30 Junior frontrunner Alex Stanfield is in the fight for the series championship and will look to stand atop the podium at the end of the weekend. Needing a strong race weekend, Stanfield will race alongside Aden Rudolph in the X30 Junior class as the duo provides a potent threat for podium results. With two other junior drivers in attendance, Brayden Robertson and Nicholas Stouffer will look to battle their way to the front of the field in KA100 Junior.
Ryan Shehan will lead the way in the X30 Senior class as he will be joined be Reilly Cann. Shehan has been on a steady upward trend since returning from a major incident earlier in the season while Cann continues to march his way further up the challenging senior grid. Working together both on and off the track, Shehan and Cann will pilot the Exprit chassis by OTK.
Miguel Mier will join Sean Owens in the X30 Masters class. Usually seen helping team drivers off the track with data, coaching and the complete operation of Team Crosslink, Owens will be on track providing a powerful 1 – 2 punch in the Masters class with Mier.
Loading in on Wednesday and hitting the track on Thursday, Team Crosslink is fully focused on Saturday and Sunday’s wheel-to-wheel competition and opportunities to take home more checkered flags in 2020.
