Traveling south to the ultra-fast New Castle Motorsports Park facility, BirelART North America took on the third annual Cup Karts North America Grand Nationals this past weekend. Quickly becoming the premier race in the four-cycle karting market, drivers in the ‘Red Army’ scored four more national championships, dominating the heat races and main events against some of the toughest Briggs & Stratton competition in North America.

“Congratulations to all of our drivers and dealers for another weekend of impressive results,” expressed BirelART North America’s Dominic Labrecque. “We traveled to Indiana to support our dealers in this growing world-class event and the results were nothing but positive. The BirelART four-cycle chassis continued to prove its success, and we can’t wait for the 2020 racing season.”

Scoring Cup Karts North America Grand National Championships were Curtis Fox in LO206 CIK Heavy, Marc Stehle in LO206 Senior Open, Jordan Prior in LO206 CIK Medium as he bested a field of 71 competitors and Nicolas Gilkes in LO206 Junior. On top of the four Grand National victories, BirelART North America drivers also secured an additional two top-three results with Blake Korth (LO206 CIK Heavy) and Jackson Pearsall (Sportsman) finishing in the third step of the podium in their respective divisions.

Five more BirelART drivers rounded out their weekend with top-five results as Jordan Prior put three in the top-five in LO206 CIK Heavy while Eric Fagan finished fourth in LO206 Senior Open. Caleb Campbell and Ashton Henckel joined Pearsall in the top-five of the Sportsman class while Jonathan Treadwell and Curtis Fox finished fourth and fifth in LO206 CIK Medium to add another pair of top-five finishes.

Labrecque continued, “The BireART and Ricciardo AM29 karts were on rails again this weekend. We have the ability to tune these karts to have the speed and grip needed, yet not be over stuck and rob much needed horsepower. Our chassis have been developed to be consistent in all weather conditions and that has been proven with wins in the heat of the summer and early in the much cooler fall season.”

In North America, the focus for BirelART North America now shifts to the final two events on the 2019 calendar. Both taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada and both on the grounds of the RIO All Suites Hotel and Casino, the elite level chassis brand will take on the ROK Cup USA ROK the RIO October 30th to November 2nd and then the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals November 20-24th. Drivers interested in competing with BirelART North America, take part in an arrive and drive program or take advantage of tent and transport opportunities are asked to contact Dominic Labrecque ASAP.
