In a deal that could shape the future of how business transactions are made, Nikola Tesla Unite and their NIKO cryptocurrency has entered a marketing partnership with IMSA Prototype Challenge team Alianza Motorsports. The five-year agreement will see Nikola Tesla Unite and their NIKO currency as the primary sponsor on the Alianza Motorsports #74 in collaboration with Forty7 Motorsports and will also open doors for a magnitude of business-to-business transactions as the cryptocurrency market continues to gain momentum.

“We are very excited to join Alianza Motorsports and not only as a sponsor in their program, but as a partner moving forward and into the future,” explains Dean Jessop, one of the founding directors and Chief Operating Officer of Nikola Tesla Unite. “We are proud to say that we are the first cryptocurrency of any kind to enter the motorsports arena and our sponsorship deal was not made with cash, but with our NIKO cryptocurrency.”

Lorne Kelly, a motorsports mogul, is one of the co-founders of Alianza Motorsports and values the partnership with Nikola Tesla Unite.

“We are working diligently with Dean and his team at Nikola Tesla Unite,” adds Kelly. “Our goal is to make NIKO not only the go-to cryptocurrency in motorsports and at the track, but for every merchant in general. I think we will be able to educate the community on cryptocurrency through our planned trackside programs as well as inform the general public just how big of a market this is and which major retailers, both brick and mortar as well as web-based, accept NIKO.”

Jessop continues, “Alianza Motorsports is a forward-thinking race team and they quickly understood the power and business opportunities with cryptocurrency. We see this as a true partnership, not just sponsoring a race team. Finding the right team to put our brand on was crucial. Alianza Motorsports has already exceeded our early expectations and with a five-year partnership, we are confident that NIKO will be well represented and put in front of a multitude of people worldwide.”

The next on track action for Alianza Motorsports will be the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix at the famed Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. Taking place July 6-8, this will be the home event for Alianza Motorsports and team driver Anthony Simone.
