It is one of the events that racers look forward to all season long and the week is finally here. Making the trip to Las Vegas, Nevada for the annual ROK Cup USA ROK Vegas event, Team Benik drivers will take on the temporary circuit at the RIO All-Suite Hotel & Casino. A new layout will challenge teams and competitors as they work towards Sunday and the chance to be crowned ROK Vegas Champions.

Five Micro ROK drivers will fly the Team Benik colors in Las Vegas led by Royce Vega who enters the event with momentum. As a multi-time race winner in 2022, Vega is looking to cap off his ROK race season with another win. Perennial front-runner Troy Ferguson will join Vega in the Micro ROK ranks and should contend for the win based on his 2021 speed and event experience. Landon Cordero Dolph, Max De Guzman, and Anthony Mazzuocolo will also enter Micro ROK and will get to work during practice on Wednesday morning. While five drivers enter Micro ROK, Tyrone Kemper Jr. and Marco Romero are set to take their talents to the battle in Mini ROK class as they look to bring even more success to Team Benik.

“We have seven talented drivers in the youngest two classes,” explained Team Benik’s Nick Mitchell. “Our product has shown that it has pace and our drivers have shown they know how to win. We would like nothing more than to top the podium in ROK Cup USA’s biggest North American karting event.”

While the major focus for Team Benik is in the Micro and Mini ROK divisions this weekend, Frankie Mossman will enter a pair of classes in the senior ranks. After strong runs on temporary street circuits in 2021, Team Benik is hoping Mossman can carry that momentum and speed into the 2022 edition of ROK Vegas as he battles in both the ROK Senior and ROK VLR Senior classes.

With practice beginning on Wednesday, Team Benik drivers will take part in four practice sessions to kick off their ROK Vegas event weekend. Thursday will begin with a couple more practice runs before the very important qualifying session late in the day while heat races will take place Friday and Saturday that will eventually set the grid for Sunday’s championship main events. Stay tuned to the Team Benik social media pages for news, information, photos, and results from the event weekend.

Looking to add drivers to their program for the 2023 season, Team Benik has opportunities available.
