With the GMR Grand Prix and qualifying for the 107th Running of the Indianapolis 500 done and dusted, next on the docket for the famed Month of May in Indy is the Carb Night Classic for the USF Pro Championship Presented by Cooper Tires competitors. Set to take on the Lucas Oil Raceway, Al Morey is ready for his one and only oval event of 2023 and another hometown event in Claremont, Indiana.

“We are less than a week before the Indy 500 and the hype continues in the area,” explained the USF 2000 Presented by Cooper Tires rookie. “Lucas Oil Raceway is just fifteen minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and a fan favorite. We will have a ton of family and friends out on Friday night and look forward to turning left for 75 straight laps.”

Coming off a strong event that saw him finish seventh in one of the three races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway less than two weeks ago, Morey has his goals set high this weekend.

Morey added, “We had a good test at Lucas Oil, and I learned a ton. I feel prepared and ready to go as I look to improve my position in the overall championship point standings.”

Currently tied for 12th in the USF2000 Championship standings, a mere 12 points from the tenth position, Al Morey will aim to improve his positioning at the Carb Night Classic on May 25-26 at the Lucas Oil Raceway during the schedule below.
