For Megan Tomlinson, the high-speed straights and sweeping corners of Road America weren’t just a test of driving skill, they were another step in a season-long journey defined by determination.

Piloting the #37 Precision Racing LA Audi RS3 LMS TCR alongside her father and co-driver Ron Tomlinson, Megan tackled the iconic 4.048-mile circuit with grit. Starting 14th on the grid for Saturday’s Road America 120, the father-daughter duo steadily carved their way through the field. The team calculated excellent pit strategy that had the #37 car sitting running a P1 takeover until heartbreaking contact on the restart caused damage to the front suspension. The duo was able to still finish 12th, ending the race with a couple of positions still gained from their starting position.

Though it wasn’t a podium result, the weekend marked another chapter of consistent progress for the Tomlinsons, who now sit solidly in the top-ten in the championship standings with just three rounds remaining.

“This was my first time racing Road America. It’s fast and has it’s technicalities, but I can see why it’s a favorite for many drivers. My dad and I can feel results at our fingertips. Solid results and good momentum have been within reach several times. The potential is encouraging, and I’d love to really keep pushing until the very end.”

Road America, nestled in the rolling hills of Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is a fan-favorite circuit known for its flowing elevation changes and long straights, the kind of track that tests both speed and strategy. For the Tomlinsons, it was yet another proving ground as they continue to gain momentum through their sophomore IMSA season.

The team now shifts focus to Virginia International Raceway, where they’ll compete again August 21–23. With three races left on the 2025 schedule, Megan and Ron remain laser-focused on climbing higher in the standings together.
