Newcomers to Radical Cup North America, EVR Motorsports excelled in the fourth round of the season at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca this past weekend. The team scored multiple podium results, including three wins, three additional podium finishes, and the Sunoco Hard Charger award for race one.

Young gun Evan Slater had a record weekend, not only scoring his first win in the Pro 1500 class, but the first win for the new EVR Motorsports program in the Radical Cup program. To top it off, Slater tripled his wins, sweeping the competition in all three races of the weekend. In addition to Slater’s wins, Gregg Gorski scored a third-place finish in race two and a second-place result in race three, his best result in the Platinum class to date. Accompanying Gorski on the Platinum class podium in race three was Louis Schriber, who also scored the Sunoco Hard Charger award in race one for most positions gained.

“I’m proud of the results this weekend,” explains Team Owner Mike Eyler. “Evan Slater put on a spectacular performance along with Gregg Gorski scoring two podiums, and Louis Schriber bringing home another. The team seems to have hit our stride in this third event, and we’ll keep pushing forward for the last two events of 2024.”

Eyler added, “These are the kind of results that we want and deserve as a team, and it feels great to see the hard work finally paying off.”

EVR Motorsports will travel north with the rest of the Radical Cup North America paddock across the Canadian border to battle it out on the Streets of Toronto. Competing alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES over the July 19-21 weekend, the series will reach the penultimate round with championships to be decided less than a month later.
