May in Indianapolis brings fans from around the world to witness the greatest spectacle in racing, the Indianapolis 500. The Month of May also brings us the Indianapolis Grand Prix to kick off all the racing action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the famed and much anticipated month. This event features the prominent NTT INDYCAR SERIES along with the USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire ladder series in which Evagoras Papasavvas will once again look to fight for victory.

Currently sitting in second in the USF2000 championship running is the veteran Papasavvas piloting the #6 entry for Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD). Papasavvas has a perfect podium record in the USF2000 season, claiming a podium finish in all five races so far. Starting with a second and third-place finish on the Streets of St. Petersburg, the veteran comes hot off a triple-second-place finish at NOLA Motorsports Park and hopes to continue his luck with a win at the famous yard of bricks.

“This podium streak has been rewarding,” explains Papasavvas. “But I’m ready to get back on the top of the podium. There’s a sort of energy you get racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Month of May, and I’m hoping I can use some of that magic to get my first win of the season and stand on the top of the podium where countless NTT INDYCAR SERIES drivers have stood after winning the Indy 500.”

Papasavvas and the rest of the USF2000 field will take to the 2.439-mile, 14-turn Indianapolis Motor Speedway course Thursday for test sessions, followed by the sole practice of the weekend. One single qualifying session and race one will take place on Friday, with the final race scheduled for Saturday. All official sessions can be streamed at USF2000.com,beginning with qualifying and running through the final checkered flag of the weekend.
