Focusing on only one series north of the border in Canada, Danny Dyszelski piloted his #88 WISKO Racing prepared entry in the fourth event weekend of the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America Championship. Entering the weekend second in the championship standings, Dyszelski earned two podium results, including a race win in the third and final on track session of the weekend to build momentum toward the next round.

In a weekend that featured one hour-long practice session before qualifying and Friday, and then three wheel-to-wheel races over the weekend, Dyszelski paced the Pro 1500 class in practice and was confident heading into qualifying. With experience on street courses in the past, the young driver was using that to his advantage on the Streets of Toronto as he earned the pole position in the Pro 1500 class.

Racing Sunday in front of a packed house of spectators, drivers were allowed to choose which tires to run as rain overnight began to dry as the sun came out. Working hard to reassert himself as a threat for the championship title, Dyszelski did exactly what was needed as he found himself at the pointy end of the results when the checkered flag flew. Taking home his first win of the weekend, after a podium result from the day before, Dyszelski kept pace with the championship leader with two event weekends remaining.

“Great way to end the weekend,” explained Dyszelski. “We have a few weeks until we race again, and it is always good to leave with a win and put pressure on others. Looking forward to the Circuit of the Americas in a few weeks as we continue the battle for the Pro 1500 championship.”

The day before, Saturday would be the home of a pair of races and the first one would be run in wet conditions. Tiptoeing his way around the barrier-lined circuit, Dyszelski was able to maintain his starting position and crossed the finish line second. In a race that featured several caution periods due to slippery conditions, the #88 machine was able to keep it straight and forward in his drive to P2.

Lining up second for race two Saturday afternoon, the slick Hankook Tires were back on track, but the race was short-lived for Danny. Completing only six race laps, the top three drivers were involved in an incident that forced them to the sidelines and out of the race.
