Competing in both open-wheel and sports car machinery in 2024, Danny Dyszelski has confirmed plans for his 2025 campaign. With the rebirth of his family’s CM Motorsports program that was prevalent in his karting days, Dyszelski will compete in the McLaren Trophy America program, which will race alongside the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS program. Never one to have an off weekend, Dyszelski will also compete with VPX Motorsport in the Pirelli GT4 America program alongside a yet-to-be-named co-driver.
“I am happy to have our 2025 plans secured so soon,” explained Dyszelski. “This will allow me to focus everything on the task at hand and the goals we seek to achieve in 2025. To be partnered with a great teammate and to have such vast knowledge around me is truly inspiring and will provide a lot of motivation and success in 2025.”
Danny’s love for cars and racing began at a young age. Since Danny was four years old, he has been actively competing at the national level all over the USA. He previously raced sprint-style karts at all major karting series, including the United States Pro Kart Series, Superkarts! USA Pro Tour, ROK Cup USA, World Karting Association, and more. Since obtaining his Competition License, Danny has continued pursuing a future in motorsports. He was selected to compete in the Lucas Oil Scholarship Shootout and competed with VRD Racing in the USF2000 Championship. Making the move to Turn 3 Motorsport at the end of 2023, Dyszelski had a successful season in the USF Pro 2000 Championship, earning a pole position on the Streets of Toronto and multiple podium results throughout the season. Looking to become a multidimensional driver, Danny was the 2023 Vice Champion at the 2023 Radical Cup North America program and has tested the waters in Pirelli GT4 America, earning multiple top-five results.
Racing alongside Danny will be perennial front-runner and multi-time champion Johan Schwartz. Acting as Team Manager for CM Motorsports, Johan will also get behind the wheel in the multi-driver format.
Schwartz’s resume includes being a two-time SRO World Challenge Champion, bringing a powerful one-two punch to the CM Motorsports program. Along with earning two World Challenge Championships, Johan has over 30 professional racing wins and 50+ podiums in BMW, Mercedes, Chevrolet, Honda, and Nissan. In 2020 Johan was the class winner of the Battle of the Continent (America, Asia, and Europe) and a race winner in the 24 Hours of COTA and 24 Hours of Dubai. Johan has stayed sharp by competing in the SRO Pirelli GT4 America series and is looking forward to adding driving duties to his Team Manager role.
Schwartz continued, “I am excited to drive, and to be able to do that with Danny. He is a great talent and will go a long way in motorsports. We have set goals for next season and are already working hard to ensure we achieve them.”
