Another year of the INDY NXT by Firestone season has wrapped up, and this year, the finale made its way to the tri-oval of Nashville Superspeedway. HMD Motorsports driver Christian Bogle fought hard in the season’s final race after a canceled qualifying session saw him start deeper in the field than he would have liked.
Starting the weekend on Saturday with two practice sessions, Bogle and the rest of the paddock geared up for qualifying under questionable weather. Despite being able to complete his qualifying laps, the session was cut short and eventually canceled due to wet weather conditions. This would mean that the grid would be set based on championship points, placing Bogle in row seven and 13th. Able to climb up two positions over the 65-lap affair, Christian finished in the 11th position after a hard-fought battle.
“It’s been another great season with the HMD Motorsports crew,” explained Bogle. “We hoped for a little bit better of a result in the final oval race of the season, but we are happy with the hard work that we put in this weekend and all season long. I want to thank my Pelican Energy Consultants, my parents, and my followers for their constant support year after year.”
After the 12-event and 14-race season, Christian Bogle finished 12th in the final INDY NXT by Firestone championship standings.
