The INDY NXT by Firestone season is well underway with six of the 14 races already completed. The series returned to the lengthy Road America this past weekend, where HMD Motorsports had ten of the 21 entries on the grid. Among those entries was veteran driver Christian Bogle, who has continued to improve his finishing position in almost all of the races this season.

Bogle, who scored eighth in his qualifying group, ended up 16th on the grid for the start of the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix at Road America. He then climbed two additional positions by the end of the 20-lap race to a final result of 14th. Keeping it consistent, this is Bogle’s fifth race where he has gained positions from his qualifying effort to the conclusion of the race and has never finished further back than his qualifying position.

“It was a tough weekend for the #7 car, but we’ll keep pushing,” explained Bogle. “Road America is a fast track and always brings out the toughest competition. We’ll take what we’ve learned from here and better prepare to return to WeatherTech Raceway in a couple of weeks, but first, we test at a new track, the Milwaukee Mile.”

In less than two weeks, the INDY NXT by Firestone series will head to the West Coast for another doubleheader at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Before then, Bogle and the rest of HMD will take part in their first test this coming Wednesday at the Milwaukee Mile, an oval at which they will race at in late August.
