Making waves in the karting industry, 15-year-old Chloe Chambers is continuing to expand her program. Announcing a partnership with MIR Raceline Italy, MIR Raceline USA and PTM Foods less than a month ago, the female driver is now pleased to confirm that she has become an Ambassador for Shift Up Now as she prepares to take on the best of the best in the karting world at this weekend’s ROK Cup USA ROK the RIO. As if Chloe wasn’t busy enough, the talented driver completed a recent F1600 Test with K-Hill Motorsports at New Jersey Motorsports Park before her cross-country trek to Las Vegas.

“Chloe is working hard and really pushing the people around her to progress up the motorsports ladder,” explained her father Matt Chambers. “A lot of these partnerships and ideas came from her as she is focused as much on the business side of motorsports off the track as she is focused on the speed and results on track.”

Joining Shift Up Now, a collective group of female racers using motorsports to inspire confidence and courage, Chloe, who is the youngest of all Shift Up Now’s Ambassadors, will push the brand’s mission and vision through her own programs as she looks to make a name for herself in North American motorsports.

“We are proud to support aspiring race car drivers as they climb the motorsports ladder,” added Karen Salvaggio, President of Shift Up Now. “Chloe Chambers has distinguished herself as a rising star in our sport, and we are pleased to welcome her as an Ambassador with Shift Up Now. We look forward to her continued success as she makes the critical transition from karting to cars in the future.”

While partnerships continue to grow off track, Chloe has been and can be seen on the track this week. Completing a two-day test with F1600 standout team K-Hill Motorsports, Chambers impressed all during the October 25th and 26th on track days at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Transitioning from karts to cars in the future, the young female has officially taken the first steps in her quest to climb the motorsports ladder. With plans yet to be confirmed for 2020, Chloe and her management team will evaluate all options for the future.

“Chloe was great to work with, clearly very fast in her formula car debut, being less than two seconds off the track record, set with no draft and used tires,” explained Mike Duncan Hess, Chloe’s Mechanic for the her first on track sessions in a race car.

“If I hadn’t been a part of the test with Chloe, I would not have believed it was the same driver every session,” explained Driver Coach Peter Portante. “Our first goal was getting comfortable with a manual transmission and not even a session after that we were in depth breaking down the smallest details of getting pace out of the car. Extremely impressive from a driver at that age, and it looks only to improve.”

“It was a fantastic experience,” added Chloe Chambers. “I am happy with my performance and met the objectives we set. I learnt a lot from working with everyone at K-Hill and appreciate everyone who helped make this happen.”

Fresh out of the seat of a race car, Chloe will return to the karting ranks twice over the next two months. Traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend, Chambers will enter the Vortex ROK Junior and 100cc Junior classes at the ROK Cup USA ROK the RIO event at the RIO All-Suites Hotel and Casino. As a multi-time winner in karting in 2019, Chambers will aim for the top step of the podium in the premier event. Following ROK the RIO, Chloe will return to Las Vegas over the weekend of November 20-24th to compete in a pair of junior divisions at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals.
