This coming weekend will kick off the second half of the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America season on the Streets of Toronto, a brand new temporary circuit to the series. Racing alongside the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Blue Marble Radical Cup teams and competitors will battle it out on the 11-turn, 1.768-mile-long, barrier-lined temporary street circuit on the streets of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Team Championship leaders in the Pro 1340 class, Crown Racing will look to extend their point lead in the fourth event this weekend which will be the home of races 10 through 12 of the 18-race championship. Bringing a pair of competitors from Arizona, Seth and Jace Bacon will look to take advantage of a new venue for all competitors in this year’s title chase.
“With a total of six events in the 2023 season, it’s crucial to close in on both the team and driver titles at this point of the championship,” explained Crown Racing’s Joey Martin. “This weekend should be interesting. Toronto is new and a very tight street course so we’re sure to see some upsets and it will be important to have clean races.”
Crown Racing’s Seth Bacon currently sits in second in the Driver Championship running with his son, Jace Bacon, following closely behind his father in third.
The Arizona-based team will hit the Streets of Toronto for the first time in one single practice on the morning of Friday, July 14 before qualifying in the afternoon.
