Following a strong debut outing in Portimão, Carl Bennett returns to the cockpit of the #51 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 this weekend for Round Two of the 2025 International GT Open season. Teaming up once again with co-driver Tommaso Mosca, Bennett will tackle the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the GT Open 500, a single endurance race headlining the weekend.
In their maiden International GT Open race at Portimão earlier this month, Bennett and Mosca showed strong pace, finishing seventh in Race One after starting sixth in the PRO class. In Race Two, the duo put on a spirited charge from 12th to finish fourth in class, narrowly missing out on a podium in their series debut.
“I learned a lot at Portimão, and it was great to get that first race weekend under our belt,” said Carl Bennett. “Spa is one of those iconic tracks that every driver looks forward to. We’ve been working hard in preparation, and I’m confident that Tommaso and I can build on our momentum and fight for a strong result in the GT Open 500.”
The weekend kicks off Friday with two practice sessions, followed by a third and final practice on Saturday morning ahead of qualifying. Unlike the standard double-race format, this round will feature a single endurance race—the GT Open 500—taking place on Sunday.
