Carl Bennett will return to GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup competition this weekend as the championship heads to Circuit Zandvoort for the penultimate Sprint Cup event of the 2026 season. Bennett will once again share the No. 71 Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO with co-driver Felix Hirsiger for AF Corse, with the duo looking to continue building momentum as the Sprint Cup season enters its final two race weekends.

“The 4.307-kilometer, 14-turn Zandvoort circuit is a track that I’m really looking forward to getting back to, and with only two Sprint Cup races left, every session is important,” said Bennett. “Felix and I have been working hard with AF Corse, and we want to put together a clean and competitive weekend. The goal is to maximize the car’s potential in qualifying and then fight for strong finishes in both races.”

The Zandvoort event marks Round 8 of the 2026 GT World Challenge Europe season and the penultimate round of the Sprint Cup. The weekend will begin Friday with practice before Bennett and Hirsiger return to the track Saturday morning for Qualifying 1, followed by the first 60-minute race of the weekend that afternoon. Qualifying 2 and Race 2 will take place Sunday, giving the pair two opportunities to fight for strong results in the No. 71 Ferrari. Fans can watch all of the GT World Challenge Europe action live throughout the weekend through the official GT World Challenge Europe live stream.
