Carl Bennett added another prestigious endurance event to his racing résumé this past weekend, completing the legendary 24 Hours of Spa with Razoon Racing in the GT World Challenge Europe Championship. Sharing the team’s Porsche with co-drivers Edward McDermott, Kenzie Reiss Beecroft, and Bryce Fullwood, Bennett helped guide the #914 entry through one of the most demanding endurance races in the world.
The quartet qualified ninth in the competitive Pro/Am Cup class before taking on the twice-around-the-clock challenge at the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. Over 24 grueling hours, the team executed a clean and consistent race, avoiding major issues while navigating changing track conditions, traffic, and the physical demands of endurance racing. Their efforts were rewarded with a sixth-place finish in the Pro/Am Cup class.
For Bennett, the result marked another valuable milestone in his European GT racing career, adding the 24 Hours of Spa to an already busy 2026 campaign.
“Any time you get the opportunity to compete in the 24 Hours of Spa, it’s something special,” expressed Bennett. “It’s one of the biggest GT races in the world and just making it to the finish is an accomplishment. A huge thank you goes to Razoon Racing for giving me the opportunity to be part of this program, as well as to my co-drivers Edward, Kenzie, and Bryce for all of their hard work throughout the week. Everyone on the team did an incredible job, and coming away with a sixth-place finish in Pro/Am gives us a lot to be proud of.”
Following another successful international outing, Bennett remains focused on carrying the momentum from Spa into the second half of his GT World Challenge Europe season. With the endurance classic now complete, Bennett will turn his attention back to GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup competition. His next event will take place July 17-19 at Misano World Circuit, where he will continue his Sprint Cup campaign, looking to build on the experience gained during one of the world’s premier endurance races.
