The Cahan Brothers, Ayrton and Gabriel, are set to take on the legendary Road America circuit this weekend as the Formula Race Promotions (FRP) season continues. Competing in the F1600 Championship class, the brothers currently sit first and second in the standings after just nine rounds, solidifying themselves as the duo to beat in 2025.
After a dominant first half of the season, the brothers now look ahead to the longest and fastest track on the calendar—Road America—for three more crucial rounds of championship racing. Their consistent podium finishes and on-track chemistry have made them clear contenders for the title, and they’re eager to continue their momentum on the historic 4.048-mile course.
“Every weekend we get stronger as a team,” explained Ayrton Cahan, the current points leader. “Road America is such an iconic track, and it suits the style of racing we both love—fast, technical, and full of speed and opportunity. We’re ready to keep pushing.”
Gabriel Cahan, who sits just behind his brother in the points, echoed the excitement. “It’s been a great season so far. We’ve been working hard to keep improving every session, and Road America is a perfect place to show what we’ve got. Our goal is to stay consistent and keep fighting for wins.”
In addition to the F1600 program, both Ayrton and Gabriel will also compete in the F2000 portion of the FRP program with Exclusive Autosport.
The weekend kicks off with testing on Thursday followed by official practice on Friday. Saturday will feature qualifying and the first race of the weekend, with a double-header scheduled for Sunday to close out the event. Fans can follow the action live via the Race Monitor app.
