The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge visited our neighbors to the north this past weekend to race on the 2.459-mile road course of Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 120. Taking place an hour outside of Toronto, home of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES this coming weekend, Bryson Morris and Taylor Hagler made their presence felt in Canada.
The Bryan Herta Autosport duo of Morris and Hagler scored their highest finish of the season north of the border this past weekend. The pair qualified seventh out of 11 cars in their class and crossed the finish line just shy of the podium in fourth after two hours of battle.
“We’re in good spirits after this weekend,” explained Morris, “There’s still work to do, but we can build on what we showed this weekend. We’ve still got half of the season to go, so we’re on the right track. A win is always the goal, and we’ll keep pushing for that the rest of the season.”
Morris will return to the #77 car alongside Taylor Hagler for Bryan Herta Autosport next month at Road America August 2nd and 3rd for the Road America 120. The anticipation for this event is profound, and the Michelin Pilot Challenge series will proceed with its schedule of two practices on Friday, followed by qualifying and the race on Saturday.
