Set for a new year of racing, Speed Concepts Racing will travel south to the AMR Motorplex for the opening round of the Superkarts! USA Winter Series. Taking place January 8th – 10th, a trio of competitors will look to climb to the top step of the podium and begin their 2021 season victorious.

“While we will look to add to our driver lineup in the future, we are fully focused and committed to the success of our current drivers,” expressed Mike Speed. “With our three drivers, we have a chance to stand on the podium and win in both X30 Junior and Senior.”

Flying the Speed Concepts Racing colors in the X30 Junior ranks will be longtime SCR member Paul Bocuse as well as Canadian National Champion Ayden Ingratta. With success in 2020, the duo will aim to start 2021 off on the right foot and give themselves a chance to earn the series title in February.

Speed added, “Both Paul and Ayden progressed throughout last season and are ready to win. I think with our coaching and support, these two will be a threat in SKUSA competition.”

Joining Bocuse and Ingratta under the Speed Concepts Racing tent will be newcomer Mathias Ramirez as he will battle the talent filled grid in X30 Senior. Running one event with the team to prep for 2021, Ramirez is anxious to get the season started and see if he can lead Speed Concepts Racing to even more race wins and championships in 2021.

“We are expecting big things from Mathias,” continued Speed. “Both Alex and I have worked with him in the past, and his drive and motivation to win is unparalleled. We are confident that he will be a valuable asset to our program as he competes in multiple different classes and series this coming season.”

With official practice taking place on Friday, January 8th, two days of wheel-to-wheel action for rounds one and two will take place Saturday and Sunday.
