It’s a trip to the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) and Austin, Texas for Black Sheep Racing, as it will be a jam-packed weekend of racing at one of North America’s premier facilities. Entering a pair of drivers in the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West by Yokohama series, Black Sheep Racing will bring in a pair of additional drivers to share driving duties in the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America program.

Competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West program, Laura Ely will compete in the 992 Masters category, where she has claimed a win and multiple podium finishes so far in 2024. Greg Herback, racing in the Cayman Master GT4 class, earned a pair of podium results in his first event weekend with Black Sheep Racing and will be back for more at the Circuit of the Americas.

Also racing in the Porsche Endurance Challenge, Ely will be joined by former series champion Ashley Frieberg while Herback will co-drive with Paul Whiting.

“We are a strong supporter of the Porsche program and are happy to have the opportunity to compete in two series, two events, two races on the same weekend,” explained Black Sheep Racing Team Owner Laura Ely. “We are bringing new and returning drivers to the series and look to continue our growth and results achieved so far this season.”

Official practice begins Friday morning, and qualifying and race one will take place on Saturday. Sunday will be the home of race two for the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West program, while qualifying for the Porsche Endurance Challenge will take place Sunday morning, with the race on Sunday afternoon.
