As the 2023 season begins to wind down, Black Sheep Racing (BSR) will be back in the state of California as they ready to take on the famed Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca. Coming off an event that featured four podium finishes, the BSR trio will be back at one of North America’s legendary facilities in Monterey, California.

“The season is coming to a close, and we are aiming to keep the success going, build momentum towards our last few events, and onwards into the 2024 racing season,” explained Chris Stiffler, Business Development Director for Black Sheep Racing. “With three drivers and two races this weekend, we have six opportunities to earn podium results and that is the number one goal.”

Laura Ely, Kenton King, and Josh Conley will fly the Black Sheep Racing banner this weekend during the next round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West by Yokohama. Laura Ely will battle in the 992 Am class while King and Conley will see action in the 992 Pro/Am category.

Stiffler added, “We have three hungry and talented drivers, along with a host of partners that have helped push us to the level of success. With our event this weekend at Laguna Seca, and the season finale at the Indy Road Course, we have some amazing opportunities to make our sponsors proud and celebrate on the podium.”

It will be a quick two-day weekend for Black Sheep Racing as Thursday’s load-in will lead straight into Friday for two practice sessions and qualifying. Saturday morning will feature the first of two wheel-to-wheel races on the day with race two later that afternoon.
