It was another weekend of competition for the BirelART North America program as the multi-dealer effort traveled to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin for rounds five and six of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS). Taking place at the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex on the grounds of the famed Road America, BirelART North America scored one race win and several podiums over the three day event weekend.
After a pair of practice days to get up to speed, teams and competitors would head into Saturday with their eyes and goals on race wins and podium results.
Saturday qualifying would be led by a pair of drivers earning the second fastest lap of the timed session to start their prefinals on the front row. X30 Pro driver Diego Ramos (PSL Karting) and X30 Masters pilot Chris Wehrheim (Milrock) would lead their respective programs in to the prefinals as they looked to solidify race wins and podium results for the BirelART North America squad. Additional top-ten starting positions would be attained by KA100 Senior standout Aden Rudolph (ARRA) and Aston Wyatt (ARRA) in Micro Swift with a P8 effort.
Moving through the prefinals and into the USPKS main events for round five, BirelART North America would earn a pair of podium results in the first day of wheel-to-wheel racing this past weekend. Wehrheim turned his second-place qualifying effort into a P2 result in the X30 Master final while Ramos added a third-place podium finish in X30 Pro. Aden Rudolph staked his claim in the top-ten running in the top-five in the day’s final to eventually cross the line in sixth. Joining Rudolph in the top-ten was fellow Alan Rudolph Racing Academy / Speedsportz driver Aston Wyatt in ninth.

Diego Ramos narrowly missed the top-five with a solid sixth place run in X30 Pro, only to be followed closely by PSL Karting driver Marijn Kremers in P7.
