BIRELART NORTH AMERICA ENTERS FORTY-FOUR COMPETITORS IN FEBRUARY WINTER KARTING EVENTS

As the heart of the winter season hits the northern states and BirelART North America’s home base near Montreal, Quebec, the sunshine, warmer temperatures and on track battles are heating up down south. Set to compete in Homestead and Ocala in the state of Florida over the next two weekends, BirelART North America will enter another large contingent of drivers at the final round of the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series and second round of the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour.

First on the calendar will be this weekend’s SKUSA event where twelve drivers will look to take their BirelART machines to the top step of the podium. Scoring multiple podium results and race wins throughout the month of January at the same facility, the track direction changes but the goal remains the same.

“Homestead is a difficult track but brings a new challenge when running in the opposite direction,” expressed BirelART North America’s Dominic Labrecque. “We have the drivers and we have the equipment to challenge in almost every class, it is just a matter of playing our cards right and being in the right place at the right time.”

Following the event in the southern part of the state, BirelART North America will pack their bags and travel five hours north to the Ocala Gran Prix facility in Ocala, Florida. Taking on the short, yet technical facility, BirelART North America will enter a staggering thirty-two competitors in their quest for victories with a different engine platform.

Labrecque continue, “Our ROK program has really taken off this year, and it is great to see so many of our dealers jumping on board. The winter program builds momentum for our summer season and so far, we have had great success.”
