Heading to the AMR Motorplex in Homestead, Florida, Supertune will enter five drivers during the opening round of the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Winter Series. With much success in 2020, the Indianapolis, Indiana based program will look to start 2021 off victorious in their first event of a new race season.
“There is no off season in karting, but we are ready to start a fresh season of racing,” expressed Ben Cruttenden. “2020 was a different year for much of the world, but it was successful for us both on and off the track. With the first event of 2021 this weekend, we will work hard to start off on the right foot and work our way towards the front of the field.”
Three Supertune drivers will enter the X30 Junior ranks as Noah Baker, Jorge Ortiz and Cameron Weinberg will all throw their hat into the mix. A strong grouping, the trio of drivers will work together to ensure success as they all look to stand atop the podium in South Florida.
Carson Weinberg, younger brother of Cameron, will also join Supertune in Florida as he will race alongside Karsyn Walters in the Mini Swift ranks. Walters is coming off a solid performance during the opening round of the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup in Daytona and will look to continue her forward progression.
With drivers on track throughout the week, Supertune’s focus will be on Saturday and Sunday and rounds one and two of the Superkarts! USA Winter Series. With two chances to claim the checkered flag, stay tuned to the Supertune social media pages for news, information, photos and results from the event weekend.
