Fresh off a victory at the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour, Canadian Ayden Ingratta is headed to The Dairy State for the third event weekend of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS). Taking on the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex on the grounds of the famed Road America, Ingratta will look to continue his winning ways and make a run for the national championship.
Heading into the event, Ingratta sits third in the X30 Junior Pro points battle on the strength of two race wins and a podium result in four races. Looking to continue his current momentum, Ingratta has been a threat for race wins and podium results at each event and sits a mere 87-markers behind the current championship leader.
“I think it is too early to think about the championship,” explained Ingratta. “I am focused on race wins right now, and I know that if I do my job, the points will come, and we will be there in the end. I have a great team behind me in Speed Concepts Racing, and I believe that we will come out on top.”
Working with Speed Concepts Racing (SCR) for multiple years, Ingratta will pilot an SCR prepared CRG chassis powered by a potent Speed Lab Racing Engines built IAME X30 in his quest to find the top step of the podium.
Ingratta added, “We are coming off of race wins in both the United States and Canada recently, and I would like nothing more than to continue that success this weekend in Wisconsin.”
Ayden Ingratta will hit the track on Thursday for unofficial testing before official practice takes place on Friday. Saturday and Sunday will provide a pair of complete race days with qualifying, prefinals and main events as the series is set to complete rounds five and six of their four event weekend, eight race championship program.
