Resetting his Indy Lights Presented by Cooper Tires career best result less than two weeks ago at Road America, Antonio Serravalle is ready to improve on that again this weekend. Set to take on the 2.4-mile Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, Serravalle and his PSerra Racing outfit will tackle some of the Road to Indy giants as they aim for top-five results at the legendary road course.
“Road America was a great showing for us especially after the troubles that we experienced in Detroit,” explained Serravalle. “But as they say in racing, you are only as good as your last result, so the focus is fully on this weekend before our six-week summer break.”
Currently eleventh in the Indy Lights championship point standings, a mere ten markers from a top-ten position, Serravalle is using the mid-point of the season as an evaluation point of where he can improve both on and off the track. Competing in the most competitive Indy Lights grid in recent years on a team that was formed last minute, Serravalle is ready to reward his squad for their hard work and efforts in the past five months.
Serravalle added, “I think we will enter the event a little behind some of the other teams who tested here but we have three ninety-minute test sessions to find our groove before our one official practice session. I have a great team behind me, and I have been here in the past, most recently as last year in the FR Americas so I am confident we should be on pace pretty quick.”
Antonio Serravalle would like to thank all of his partners for the help and support to get the 2021 season off the ground as without them, none of this would be possible. A huge thanks to LedgeMark Homes / livgreen, Tycoon Capital Limited, TriBrik, Camptech ll Circuits, Coshore, Ferrari & Associates, Scuderia Ferrari Club Canada, Med-Scan and Sabelt.
