The challenge this weekend was the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Antonio Serravalle and the Canadian driver was able to earn a pair of eleventh place results. Progressing throughout the event, the #11 Pserra Racing entry driver continues to find pace and gain experience in his rookie season.
For Saturday’s wheel-to-wheel action, the young Canadian was able to go twelfth quick in qualifying but advanced forward one position when wheel-to-wheel racing commenced to cross the stripe in 11th. Returning to the track on Sunday, Serravalle started where he left off the day prior earning the eleventh place starting position after the one and only qualifying session. With the second green flag just prior to the start of the NTT IndyCar Series, Serravalle rolled off from the insie of the sixth row and managed to maintain his position and cross the line in P11.
“It was a bit of a trying weekend for us but again, we completed the goal of every race lap and pushed hard to close the gap,” expressed Serravalle. “The team is getting better each and every race and we are really working hard to add the right people in the right places. A huge thanks to all the Pserra Racing crew for the help, hard work and support so far throughout the season.”
Next up for Serravalle will be a test at Road America before a second test at the Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. With just over a month off until the next official race action at Belle Isle and the Detroit Grand Prix, Serravalle will take part in the two private tests as the season has now crossed the one quarter point and 75% of the races are still to go.
Antonio Serravalle would like to thank all of his partners for the help and support to get the 2021 season off the ground as without them, none of this would be possible. A huge thanks to LedgeMark Homes / livgreen, Tycoon Capital Limited, TriBrik, Camptech ll Circuits, Coshore, Ferrari & Associates, Scuderia Ferrari Club Canada, Med-Scan and Sabelt.
