Alliance Racing is gearing up for the penultimate event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America regular season, taking place this weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, one of the most iconic venues in motorsport. The team will field a pair of entries – the #28 Pro class car driven by Ernie Francis Jr. and Luke Berkeley, and the #26 Am car piloted by Andre Lagartixa and Garrett Adams – as they prepare to take on the high-speed challenge of the famed IMS road course.
Known as “The Racing Capital of the World,” Indianapolis Motor Speedway is steeped in history and tradition. For Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course provides a unique mix of the Brickyard’s long straights with a technical infield section, demanding precision and power from both car and driver.
Team owner Toney Edwards is excited to bring his drivers to such a prestigious venue to cap off the regular season. “Racing at Indianapolis is special no matter what series you’re in,” said Edwards. “For our team, it’s a great opportunity to showcase the talent we have in both cars. Ernie and Luke have been strong all season in the Pro class, and Andre and Garrett continue to grow with each outing. We’re looking forward to closing out the regular season with momentum before heading into the World Finals.”
Alliance Racing now looks to finish strong at one of the world’s most legendary racetracks, with both lineups aiming for big results at the Brickyard. The weekend will begin on Thursday with two practice sessions before moving into Friday qualifying and race one. The regular season will officially wrap up on Saturday with race two, setting the stage for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals later this year.
