Alliance Racing capped off the final North American-based round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America regular season with a weekend of perseverance and podium success at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Fielding two entries on the iconic 2.439-mile, 14-turn IMS road course, the team showcased speed and determination in front of a passionate crowd at “The Racing Capital of the World.”

The Pro class #28 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, driven by Luke Berkeley and Ernie Francis Jr., qualified fifth in class for Race One but was sidelined before the start due to a mechanical issue. In the Am class, the #25 entry of Andrew Lagartixa and Garrett Adams delivered a stellar drive, climbing from a seventh-place starting position to capture a third-place podium finish in their class.

Qualifying for Race Two saw both cars start from seventh in their respective classes, setting the stage for another hard-fought battle on Sunday. The #28 Pro entry rebounded strongly to finish fifth in class, while the #25 Am car narrowly missed the podium, bringing home an impressive fourth-place class finish to close out the regular season.

“This weekend was a testament to the grit and teamwork that defines Alliance Racing,” explained Team Owner Toney Edwards. “We faced adversity early on, but the drivers and crew never let up. To leave Indy with a podium and strong finishes for both cars is a great way to close out the North American season. Now our focus shifts to the World Finals in Italy, where we’re ready to represent our team on the global stage.”

With the IMS round complete, Alliance Racing now turns its attention to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals at the Misano World Circuit in Italy, scheduled for early November. There, the team will take on the world’s best Super Trofeo competitors in a showdown that promises to be the ultimate test of speed and strategy.
