As the North American karting community begins to move to put the COVID-19 pandemic behind them, kart tracks, race series and other related motorsports organizations are beginning to reopen and start a new way of business. American Kart Track Promoters Association (AKTPA), the World Karting Association (WKA) and TaG USA are standing together and urging companies, racetracks and series to follow your local and state issued guidelines to reopening.
With the United States coming to a standstill for almost eight weeks, different states, cities and counties all have different approaches in the reopening of their businesses. AKTPA, WKA and TaG USA are as anxious as the rest of the country to get back to normal, or the new normal, whatever that may be, but the primary focus needs to be on the health and well-being of each and every member of the population.
Working hand in hand to safely reopen their individual programs across the country, AKTPA, WKA and TaG USA ask you to take the highest possible sanitation practices to limit the transmission of COVID-19 and do your part to stop the spread. Local and state issued guidelines have been put in place and while we all know everyone wants to move faster than some guidelines allow, AKTPA, WKA and TaG USA will be working within these specific parameters and hope that you do as well.
If there are any questions, comments or concerns, please direct them to the appropriate organization.
