It’s the heart of the racing season and a trip out west for EVR Motorsports. Competing at the most recent Radical Cup North America round at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, the four-driver team will head clear across the country to battle the famed Corkscrew at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Traveling to Monterey, California, EVR Motorsports will bring five drivers vying for supremacy and make a late season run to add to their results resume.

“The Radical Cup North America program has increased in size this season, and increased the competition level,” expressed EVR Motorsports’ Mike Eyler. “In the past, to be on the podium was a given, but with the quantity, and quality of drivers, just to be in the top five or six takes a huge effort both on and off the track, and as a new team, we are working our way to be even better.”

In the ultra-fast Platinum class, EVR Motorsports will have a trio of drivers aiming for the top step of the podium, including Louis Schriber, Gregg Gorski, and Jim Booth. Schriber left Road America with the program’s best finishes standing on the podium, while Gorski and Booth both earned top-five finishes for their efforts.

Matching Schriber’s podium results was fellow EVR Motorsports driver Evan Slater in the Pro 1500 ranks. Slater is one of Radical Cup’s up-and-coming talents and is gaining knowledge and experience with each passing race weekend as he continues to impress in his rookie season.

Eyler added, “I think Laguna will be one of our best events of the season. We are now halfway through the 2024 campaign and as a team, we better know what to expect from the competition. Like our drivers, I know I am ready to win!”

EVR Motorsports will hit the track on Friday for a pair of practice sessions and qualifying before three wheel-to-wheel races, two on Saturday and one on Sunday.
