This coming weekend will mark the first event of the 2023 Southwest Regional Cup Series (SWRC). Put on by industry members to continue growth throughout Texas and Oklahoma, the first wheel-to-wheel action of the season will take place at the Speedsportz Race Park this weekend.
“Entries have been slowly coming in, but we have some big teams and drivers that will look put their mark on the SWRC this weekend,” explained Alan Rudolph. “Entry for this weekend is still open so we hope to add a few more names to the list.”
The 100cc Senior field is stacked with the likes of national-level front-running drivers Helio Meza, Cooper Shipmen, and Keno Cadena. Max Hewitt and Ayrton Hernandez will battle it out in Shifter while Aston Wyatt and Alex Chandler will look to do the same in Micro Swift. Throw in the names of Nico Orbezo in Mini Swift, 206 Cadet driver Emmett Eddolls, and Tyler Roberts in 100cc Juniors, some of the top drivers from the area will battle it out this weekend in New Caney, Texas.
